Last Thursday in April has been dedicated for 12 years to popular event – meeting of the Slovak limnological community, where academics, limnologists from practice, and many students and young scientists meet each year. This year’s limnological seminar was organized by Department of Ecology of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Comenius University in Bratislava in cooperation with the Slovak Limnological Society in a romantic wooden chalet Inovecka chata near Trenčianske Jastrabie. During the day, a number of talks were presented, including one of Dr. Roman Godunko from the Institute of Entomology in České Budějovice: Freshwater arthropods and old museums: how to open the Pandora’s box? The meeting was also ideal opportunity for the first official presentation of the AquaBOL.SK initiative and this website! Our presentation started the whole program and the first feedback was really very positive 🙂
